Welcome Letter from the Acting President of WPSP

February 2026

A warm welcome both to current and former WPSP members.

While it has been a few years since our last in-person conference, we are excited to announce that we are presenting a Hybrid program on April 11th “Unconscious Communication in the Psychoanalytic Process: Can It Include Telepathy?”   Janine de Peyer, LCSW-R, Associate Editor with Psychoanalytic Dialogues who is on faculty and a Supervisor at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, New York, the Florida Psychoanalytic Center and the Stephen Mitchell Relational Study Center will be our presenter for this program.

We  are excited to have the capability of paying dues and registering for WPSP  programs online.  You will need to go to the WPSP website (WPSPdc.org) to My Account where you will click on the Request Password link so you can create a password and an account. Members who prefer to pay by check can continue to do so.

As always, do consider starting your own seminar on any topic of your choice.  Free Continuing Education Credits are one of many benefits of WPSP membership.

We anticipate offering more educational programs and welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

I do look forward to seeing many of you in person on April 11th and many more who opt to attend virtually. Three CEs are available for this very stimulating program.

Please visit our website (www.Wpspdc.org) for more information about WPSP as well as this program.

WPSP has expanded to an organization where meetings are attended by interested professionals from the wider community, providing study groups, salons, and conferences for more than 300 members throughout the years.

Meetings, Salons, and Conferences are held in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Washington Professionals for the Study of Psychoanalysis (WPSP) was organized with the purpose to provide a forum for professional communication and exploration of the clinical and theoretical aspects of psychoanalysis from a variety of perspectives.
